This Design reimagines the world of Medea through the lens of her fractured and every decaying mental state. Psychotic episodes and otherworldly hallucinations represent all of the magic and supernatural activity within the show. Furthermore the Chorus functions as a voice in her head, physically represented by projections of eyes watching her throughout the show. The moment when she flys away on her chariot will involve magic and smoke, causing her to disappear while a video of her flying away is projected on the screens. The design aims to tell the story of Medea's descent, and how mental illness can cause people's worlds to fall apart (literally in this case).
